Mini Boots Haul.

Hey dolls,
I recently went shopping and thought I would share with you all what I picked up.
I'm currently waiting on an order from Elf, so I wasn't sure whether to wait for that to arrive and include all products, or do two separate posts, but I'll do a post now on what I bought from Boots, and a post when my Elf products arrive.

Natural Collection Nail Tip Whitener
I've been wanting a white nail varnish for a while now, so whilst I was out I decided to pick this up, especially given it was £1.89. I haven't used it yet, but it looks like it has a thick consistency on the brush. I've recently had my nails done (as you can see from the pictures, gel stilettos if you're wondering) and I love the idea of white stiletto nails, so this is definitely gonna be the colour I paint my nails next.

Maybelline Color Show in Coral Craze
As soon as this nail colour caught my eye, I knew I had to have it. This is the colour I have on my nails in these pictures. I wanted something new and bright throughout autumn. As much as I love dark nails, I'd pick bright nails over them any day. It's so easy to apply, and I just love the colour. I have two coats on my nails, although one would have been enough.

Maybelline Fit Me Foundation
I've had my eye on this foundation ever since it came out, but I always stick to what I know. Needing a new foundation, I decided to move out of my comfort zone and try something new, and I'm glad I did, although I have mixed opinions. I used two pumps at first, and used my Real Techniques Stippling Brush to apply, and it goes on brilliantly. It's really easy to blend, especially over the Revlon Primer. But I found the colour didn't match me at all, even though I got the lightest shade, which I was disappointed about. I also didn't like the coverage, and built it up over my cheeks (to cover the odd few spots I have). But once I had it all blended and I used my powder, the colour looked fine, and I now actually really like this foundation.

Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer
I've never actually purchased a Revlon product, but when I bought this primer I had high hopes. My friend Heather was with me when I bought it, and I knew she had tried it but she said she wasn't too fussed on it, as when she used it, her make up seemed to slide off. But I bought it anyway, the hopes it would be different for me (as me and Heather have massively different skin). I have to say, I absolutely love this product. It has a kind of pinkish undertone to it, and it brightens my skin amazingly, as well as helping my foundation glide on. I'll have to try it a few more times before I can have a thorough opinion, but fingers crossed I've found my new holy grail primer!

Natural Collection eyeshadow in Crushed Walnut
Although this product is an eyeshadow, I didn't purchase it for this reason. I've been on the look out for a nice brown matte shadow, purposely to fill my eyebrows in. At £1.79, I couldn't resist buying it to try out. It's a lovely powder to fill my eyebrows in, as it's very pigmented, although the colour looks a little dark for my lighter hair and pale complexion. But for the price, I can't complain!

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Mascara
This has been my go to mascara for about a year now. Whenever I can't see a mascara that I fancy, I pick this up as I know I like the product and the price tag. I don't use the wand in this mascara though, as I find it too big for my lashes. I use a more fanned out wand, and it works wonders on my lashes. I only use this wand when I want extremely thick lashes, and I use it to apply plenty of product.

And that's my mini Boot haul!
Let me know what you guys think, or if there's any posts you'd like to see from me in the future!

  1. Oh I tried the Revlon primer and was quite disappointed :( It broke me out really badly! I love the look of the Natural Collection eyeshadow though, that's a brand I always forget about haha!
