Current Beauty Favourites.

Hey dolls!
Since it's been a while since I last blogged, I thought I'd do my current beauty favourites. I haven't really done a post like this before, so I thought I'd do one. It's all my makeup favourites I've been using and loving for the past couple of months and thought I'd share it with you guys.

MUA Unress Me Too Palette

The first product on my favourites is this eyeshadow palette from MUA. I recently picked this up in Superdrug, and I've been using it everyday without fail! I love that they're all neutral colours but you can create so many different looks with the varied matte and shimmery shades. I'm not usually a fan of shimmery eye shadows, but I adore this palette! As you can see from the swatches, the top row of colours aren't too much, and the bottom row are so rich and pigmented. Can't praise this palette enough!

Benefit They're Real! Mascara

This is a product that everyone and their mother has tried, so I won't go too much into it. My friend swears by this mascara, so I decided to give it a try and I love it! I wear false eyelashes most days anyway, but I always apply mascara first. I love the length of my eyelashes after I apply this mascara, and I love applying it to my fake lashes for my depth and volume.

No.7 Foundation Brush

I got this brush for Christmas in a set, and wasn't so sure as I absolutely swear by my Real Techniques Stippling Brush, but I decided to give this a go and I have to say, I'm impressed. I've never really been a fan on foundation brushes, but I love the way this one just glides my foundation on smoothly. It also leaves a nice natural dewy effect, as the foundation kind of sits on the skin, rather than sinks in like it does with the Stippling Brush, which I'm warming to.

Maybelline 24 Hour Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze

Another eye product I've been loving lately is this Colour Tattoo, which I use under any shadows (mostly from the MUA palette) or just on its own if I'm in a rush and want a little something on my eyes, as it's perfect for both. I love using it under other colours, as it adds more depth to the shadow, and helps it stay on for longer. I wasn't sure of this product when I first got it, but I'm definitely going to get a few more colours and start a collection!

No.7 Directional Powder Brush

This is another brush I got for Christmas, and although it's only a powder brush, I can't rave about it enough. It's the softest, fluffiest brush I've used! I don't really wear much powder, but I adore this brush. It applies powder just like any other brush would, but there's just something about it which I love!

No.7 Rounded Brush

Again, I got this brush for Christmas (I got a set, if you couldn't tell!) and it's another which I love. I've never tried No.7 brushes before, but after these 3 I'll definitely be trying more! I love using this brush to blend out my bronzer and blusher, and it blends them enough so it's not too much but not so much that you can't see the definition. The only problem I've had with it is, lately when I've been blending everything out, it's been wiping my foundation off, but I guess it's just practice.

Maybelline Colour Show Nail Varnish in Latte

I've been looking out for a nice, nude coloured nail varnish for a while, but there wasn't ever really one that caught my eye until I seen this one. I've had a few nail varnishes from this range, so I know how good the quality of them are. I forgot to take a picture of it on my nails so you could see, but there's one on my Instagram (I'll leave the link at the bottom). If you're looking for a nude varnish, I strongly recommend this one!

Topshop Lipstick in Pillow Talk

And last but not least, I wanted to include this lipstick from Topshop as it's the only thing I've been wearing on my lips since Christmas! I absolutely adore the colour, as I don't usually opt for a light pink but this one is just gorgeous. The only thing I dislike is how it clings to my lips, and as I have dry lips it's not so good, but at least it's keeping me in routine of exfoliating and moisturising them!

And that's it, my current beauty favourites!
What have been your favourites lately?
I'll be doing a post really soon about my valentines makeup if you're interested, and I hope you all had a fantastic Valentines day, whatever you got up to!

Love, B x

  1. Theyre real has been on my wishlist for ages! I just cant justify getting it for the price when there are highstreet brands that work perfectly for me. I love the look of that no.7 kabuki too.
